On Gear Live: Samsung S95C: The OLED TV You Can’t Afford (to Ignore!)

Ben AffleckBen Affleck hates the TV series Homeland.

The Argo actor and director - who is tipped for Oscar glory next year - has revealed he can't bare to watch the hugely popular series starring Emmy-award winner Claire Danes because he was originally supposed to direct it but was forced to turn down the opportunity.

The 40-year-old actor revealed he was asked to direct the pilot of the hit Showtime series but he turned the project down to spend quality time with his young family as his wife Jennifer Garner was shooting a movie and they have an agreement that they won't work at the same time.

"I was sure nothing would happen with the show. Now I hate the [f**king] show. I've never seen it," he said. The father-of-three said he doesn't plan on making the same mistake twice and will jump at the opportunity to direct the right TV show in the future. "I'm going to attach myself to 14 pilots this year," he joked.

Homeland recently enjoyed a series high of 2.07 million viewers last Sunday night.

Season four will be - unlike previous seasons - thirteen episodes and without series creator Dan Harmon behind the scenes as showrunner. Writers David Guarascio and Moses Port (co-creators of Aliens in America) will instead take Harmon's place.

John Krasinski as Jim on 'The Office'John Krasinski is "emotional" about the end of The Office.

The actor - who is married to Emily Blunt - has played Jim Halpert on the comedy for seven years and while he doesn't want to say goodbye, he is happy that he and his castmates have the opportunity to bring their storylines to a satisfactory conclusion.

"I get so emotional to think that we're ending the show. But I'm unbelievably proud to be a part of one that actually gets to end. Instead of being asked to leave, I actually get a shot at bringing the whole story and all the characters to a close," he said.

John, 33, also revealed he used to live in fear of the show ending and asked for some of the first episodes on DVD so he could show his mother. "We actually had a guy come down every Friday to the set and he'd be like, 'Ah man, this episode's so great. It's going so well. The dailies are looking great. You know this is the last episode, right? We're not going to pick it up.' And I was like, 'Can I at least get these on DVD to show my mom?' And he actually did give me the first six episodes on DVD, because we were sure we actually weren't going to get picked up," he explained.

Kristin CavallariKristin Cavallari will never return to reality TV.

The former The Hills star - who gave birth to her first child Camden with fiance Jay Cutler in August - said she would never want to star in a reality TV series again as she thinks it would destroy her family.

The fashion designer also revealed she has no plans to marry her long-term love Jay anytime in the near future as she wants their son to be able to walk down the aisle himself: "We've talked about maybe having another baby first so we'll see. I want Camden to walk down the aisle, so it will be a few years yet."

Kristin has been jogging, nursing and healthy eating and is only two pounds away from her normal weight following Camden's birth.
